The subject leans strongly to left, democrat, liberal ideologies. It is outdated in its material. It's opinionated and not founded in facts. The political scope and ideologies have changed, and it is no longer as it was before the 2020 elections. I am a minority, Mexican / Native American who identifies as a republican right-wing conservative and your perspectives of what a Democrat and a Republican is, are false and inaccurate. This subject and class need to be restructured with real learning materials and not leftist propaganda. People don’t know how to treat each other. The government is against this population because no one knows how to treat people. Everyone pawns the homeless to the next organization and non-do anything hoping that the next will. The government needs to pay advocates. Not the bottom feeders that work for the mental health organizations that do not do anything for anybody but real advocates who have the authority to pull strings and get things done for the homeless that need help. The advocates dealing directly with the homeless don’t have any authority and are piled up on by their supervisors that can’t authorize anything without their supervisors and the supervisors on top of them.
